Crew Movie Review: Starring Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Kriti Sanon, Offers Hugely Entertaining Experience

In the realm of Bollywood heist films, a refreshing shift is witnessed with the leading trio of Tabu, Kareena Kapoor, and Kriti Sanon, heralding a positive change in mainstream cinema's portrayal of women.

In the movie "Crew," Geeta (Tabu), Jasmine (Kareena Kapoor Khan), and Divya (Kriti Sanon) are employed by Kohinoor Airlines, helmed by the flamboyant owner Vijay Walia (Saswata Chatterjee), whose extravagant lifestyle contrasts sharply with the company's massive debts. Despite Walia's opulence, he fails to compensate his employees, leaving them in dire financial straits. This predicament raises a myriad of questions: How does one cope when faced with mounting pressure and unmet financial obligations? How does one navigate through such turbulent times while maintaining personal responsibilities? These are challenges that resonate deeply with many, yet often lack understanding from those unaffected. While the answers may seem elusive, they become clearer through personal experience and resilience in the face of adversity.

The challenges faced by the majority of middle-class individuals in our society are often overlooked, despite their prevalence. "Crew" stands out as a finely crafted film, boasting witty dialogues and the refreshing portrayal of women from diverse age groups as its leads. This ensemble not only enhances the film's appeal but also enriches its visual allure.
